The Strokes

The Strokes are an American rock band formed in New York City in 1998. The band consists of lead vocalist Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr., bassist Nikolai Fraiture, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti. Known for their garage rock sound and indie rock influences, The Strokes rose to fame in the early 2000s with their debut album “Is This It.” Their music is characterized by catchy melodies, raw energy, and Casablancas’ distinct vocals. One of their popular songs, “Hard To Explain,” is a track from their debut album. Released in 2001, the song showcases the band’s signature sound with its driving guitars and infectious chorus. It was well-received by critics and helped solidify The Strokes’ place in the rock music scene.
