The Black Keys is an American rock band formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001. The band consists of Dan Auerbach (vocals, guitar) and Patrick Carney (drums). They emerged as part of the garage rock revival movement and have gained widespread acclaim for their raw blues-rock sound. Early in their career, the band recorded at home, self-producing their music, and garnered a following through relentless touring and dynamic live performances. Their breakthrough came with the release of the album “Brothers” in 2010, which won three Grammy Awards. The band’s commercial success continued with the album “El Camino” in 2011, featuring hit singles like “Lonely Boy.” One example song from The Black Keys is “Wild Child”.
