Artist Spotlight: Geowulf

Geowulf is an Australian dream-pop duo formed in 2016, consisting of childhood friends Star Kendrick and Toma Banjanin.

Hailing from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, the pair relocated to London to pursue their musical ambitions. Their sound is characterized by ethereal vocals, shimmering guitars, and a hazy, nostalgic atmosphere that evokes lazy summer days and coastal vibes.

Geowulf’s debut EP, “Relapse,” was released in 2017, followed by their first full-length album, “Great Big Blue,” in 2018. The album garnered critical acclaim for its dreamy soundscapes and introspective lyrics.

Their song “Dolly” exemplifies their signature style, blending breezy melodies with a touch of melancholy. The track showcases Star’s breathy vocals floating over a bed of jangly guitars and subtle electronic elements, creating a sonic landscape that’s both wistful and uplifting.
